Transparency Reporting

As a member of Medicines Australia, Menarini Australia is committed to being open and transparent about payments and transfers of value :

1. Australian healthcare professionals who we engage in patient care

  • Payments for the provision of services such as giving a lecture, chairing an educational meeting, providing advice as a member of an Advisory Board or as a Consultant
  • Airfares, accommodation and/or conference registration fees to attend medical education as part of those services.

Menarini Australia has prepared reports for publication in accordance with the Medicines Australia Code of Conduct and Australia’s Privacy legislation. The reports identify HCPs by name. HCPs have a general right under the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth), subject to certain exceptions, to access or correct personal information, incl. the report.

From 30 August 2019, this information will now be held in a database, administered by Medicines Australia. This database is designed to be searchable as well as downloaded as a CSV file.

2. Third party organisations receiving sponsorship support to conduct educational activities for Australian HCPs who are engaged in patient care

Reports on educational events supported by Menarini are submitted to Medicines Australia and are available at Third Party Meeting Sponsorships.

3. Health Consumer Organisations to deliver services to Australian patients

Menarini’s annual reports of the support provided to HCOs are available at Health Consumer Organisation Support Reports.
